RDX IN CRICKET BAG: CLAIM POLICE

A young cricketer from Kashmir was detained at Bangalore after police claimed to have found traces of RDX in his bags. Pervez Rasool  is an under-22 player who was travelling for the game when he was detained at the cricket stadium in Bangalore. Later he was let off due to lack of evidence. The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association expressed shock at the incident and said that these were regular known cricket players from their state and that they were being harassed.

KENYA DEFEATS ZIMBABWE

A 20-run defeat was inflicted by Kenya on Zimbabwe and took Kenya to 2-1 lead in the 5-match ODI.  Openers Obuya and Obanda put up 119 runs which helped in froming the win. The ODI final will be held on Sunday October 18 between Kenya and Zimbabwe.
