Advise from Mike Fennell, leader of the Commonwealth Federation
Delegates who have toured the stadia and seen the preparations being mde for the Games are satisfied with the pace of work, said Mike Fennell after the Executive Board Meeting of the Commonwealth games Federation, but he added "Time is your enemy, but together we can defeat it!". They had noted that the hospitality being offered by the city was excellent. With the Commonwealth Games slated to begin less than a year from now, it was felt that there is a huge challenge to overcome to meet the deadlines for the Games. Fennell made it clear that there was now no option but to ensure that New Delhi is prepared for the Games, since there is no Plan B.
