HOOPER "OUTSTANDING CHIEF EXECUTIVE"
As reported earlier on this site there has been a gloves-on fight between the IOA led by Suresh Kalmadi and Mike Hooper over the latter's removal as the Chief Ececutive of the Commonwealth Games Federation overseeing the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi in 2010. The chairman of the CGF Mike Fennell wrote a detailed letter through email calling Hooper an outstanding chief executive and recognising his commitment towards successful celebration of the Games in New Delhi. He has asked Kalmadi to meet him in London where the Indian contigent will be going for the Queen's Baton rally on October 28. The email has made it clear that Hooper cannot be removed and that a personal attack against him is unwarranted.
